To get what’s inside outside and examine, as someone probably Greek and ancient said, “the correspondences in all things”. Correspondence + poetry = metaphor. A metaphor is like a song about the things compared (“tenor” and “vehicle” or “ground” and “figure”; in cognitive linguistics, it’s “target” and “source”). Have you seen “Il Postino“?
